Steam Engines Graveyard
While visiting Klamath Basin, near Merrill Oregon, took a wrong turn and suddenly found myself among large grain elevators and all these old steam engines. Asking around, found out the engines and railroad gear were used to haul logs from the mountains throughout Oregon in the early 1900s. It is a shame to see these prehistoric beasts rusting away but guess they outlived their usefulness. I have a feeling it won't be long before we see them again, running around on the roads as Hondas.
